On October 30th we left the Bay of Islands, rounded Cape Brett and motored and sailed our way 45 miles through flat seas down the east coast of the North Island to tiny Tutukaka Harbour.  We spent a quiet night there with Lady Kay and left early the next morning for our last sail of the season.

Picture 1 is a tourist attraction the New Zealander's call 'Hole in the Rock'.  These New Zealanders are pretty no-nonsense when it comes to naming things.

Picture 2 is our view of the coastline as we rounded Cape Brett.
