Last Tuesday (7/17/07), we motor-sailed (mostly
motored) from Pte De Coigne to Lac Saint Louis Pte Johnson. Along the way,
we navigated through two lift bridges and two locks. Suzanne and Bob were
indispensable in the locks and as you can see in the picture below, have
adjusted to life onboard quite well.
We followed the 'Beluga Elegance' through the
liftbridges as shown below (we arrived at the first liftbridge before the
Beluga, but figured it would be in our best interest to let them go
first...).
The anchorage we chose at Lac Saint Louis Pte
Johnson was quite close to the channel and only about 15 miles from
Montreal. Shown below is our first glimpse of the lights of
Montreal.
