Day 11 - Cruising Along Nicely with a Cooperative Wind

The wind has decided to stay in one place and we
have decided to head west with the wind directly behind us. The ride has
smoothed out and our abs are getting a nice rest after the roll action and
squall activity we dealt with yesterday. We are getting pretty good at
setting up our downwind rig (remember our first day out on the rally when we had
trouble with the downwind rig and Don's prescription sunglasses went overboard
as a result?). Last night the downwind rig went up at 1am without a
hitch. Of course the light from the full moon helped a
little...
ETA for the Marquesas is still looking like a week
from today (3/27) for a total of 18 days at sea. We are still doing well
after 11 days, so we are pretty sure we will make it through the remaining
7. Sleeping more than three hours at a time will be a welcome change
though.
