We arrived at Puerto Baquerizo on San Cristobal Island on Friday afternoon, stayed there one night and made our way to Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island Saturday (3/1), which is where we are now.

More on the Galapagos later.  For now, here are some pictures taken while motorslogging.

Picture 1 - This is Oscar and his mom (our tour guide) Jessica, taken right before we left Ecuador. We were late starting that day due to problems with our exit papers.  You can see the other World ARC boats in the background sailing across the starting line (this was the first and last bit of sailing done by anyone on this leg).

Picture 2 - This was our view for much of the trip.  Note the glassy, flat water.  Positively no wind.

Picture 3 - Oscar enjoying the sunset (Don gets credit for this very nice photo)

Picture 4 - Sunrise (another Don photo)

Picture 5 - First Galapagos landfall - San Cristobal - with Oscar looking on.
