You know it's too damn hot when...

Sweat rolls out of your eyebrows.

Sun block slides down your face in a pasty river - one nanosecond after application.

The river of sweat running from your eyebrows, down your face, neck, chest, stomach, and legs makes your feet squish in your crocs when you walk.

The puddle of sweat collecting in the bottom of the stern locker you are sitting in while reconfiguring the propane locker reaches the electric fan's extension cord, blows the breaker and causes the boat's 110V power to go poof.

You drink five liters of water in a single day while sitting in the stern locker reconfiguring the propane locker (and don't pee once).

After undressing for a shower, you have to wring out your underwear, shorts and t-shirt, being careful not to let the dripping perspiration soak into the cabin upholstery (knowing sweat-soggy upholstery makes your wife gag), before tossing the swampy mess out into the cockpit to dry.

You find yourself in the cockpit waving good morning to a male boat neighbor...and then realize you forgot to put a shirt on over your bra.

The locals start to sweat.

The Rebak Island Resort women guests from Saudi Arabia allow their veils to slip below their noses.

A sunny day causes depression.  A rainy day causes elation.

You look at the thermometer and exclaim, "Wow!  It's cool today!" (the thermometer reads 89.5F).

Yeah, so it's been hot (and yes, all the stuff mentioned above really happened).  Hotter and more humid than ever before.  But we're alive and mostly kicking.  More on the boat drudgery that has taken place over the past month later.
