Paxos to Valtou Bay via Sivota 29th – 30th June
We left Paxos and headed across to the mainland to try and find a tiny bay that Jacky had visited in 1978 when on her first, and only flotilla holiday. We did find it but it was completely taken over by a Nielson sailing centre so nowhere to anchor safely, we proceeded through a very shallow channel and had a look at the other side of the sandy causeway but this too was packed out with charter boat moorings. Further along in another bay we found a suitable place to anchor and had a swim and some lunch before heading north again to Valtou Bay (Jumping Fish) where we had a lovely evening BBQ plenty of swimming and some decent wine. There were 4 boats in the bay overnight so lovely and peaceful.
