43.38N 9.19w 4th June We had a very quiet night, little wind so motored sailed
until after breakfast when a fresh breeze came in from WSW. The stars were so
clear with no light pollution to spoil their visibility. However this morning is rather dull and overcast and as per
forecast there is drizzle in the air. We had more porpoises playing round the
bow and we managed to get some shots – hopefully they will come out. Sighted land at 1215 today - the north west coast of Spain;
we are now sailing close hauled down the coast about 15 miles off. The GPS tells us we have 85 miles to go!! Bayona here we come. Looking forward to getting ashore and sampling the local
restaurants. Jacky and Bob Black |
