Port de Chantereyne Marina, Cherbourg

It was howling outside so we had a quiet morning on TC, the saloon table was covered with Airfix kits once again as the children did more on their Mosquito and Mustang models. Bol is bringing them to life by knowing so much information about the airplanes that flew in those days, the stories are all tying in nicely with various visits to WWII sites and with the impending visit to Ouistreham next week. Isabelle is slightly despairing off all this talk of war but Harry is interested!

The sack trolley did well transporting a rather large number of wine boxes back from the Carrefour supermarket once the rain had subsided and TC is once again loaded down well with lovely French food and wine.

As I write, Bol is finishing off Swallows and Amazons 'We didn't mean to go to Sea' which has gripped us all this last week.

Leaving for St Vaast tomorrow after lunch.
