Our last day here, sob sob, heading off early in the morning at the start of the ebb so will hopefully have a fast trip down the 20+ miles to Vila Real de San Antonio at the entrance to the River Guadiana. One night there and then off to Faro/Culatra for a few days, slowly making our way westwards towards Lagos for meeting Hans and Fred in two week's time.
The rain cleared up and today was clear and sunny so we had a pleasant time visiting the little shops in both Spain and Portugal, buying some souvenirs and saying cheerio to the various lovely folk we have met.
A great 'happy hour' on Ted's boat who has been here for 4 years, it is always fun to hear stories of how people have stumbled upon the river and interesting to hear their future dreams.
Million dollar question: will we ever come back?
