Rota

We've had a very pleasant and relaxing day after yesterday's rather hectic one. We spotted Gill and Peter on their Oyster 43 "Silver Girl" who kindly invited us over for a coffee, what a lovely boat, so homely and comfortable. More fishing gear compared!

We had a very enjoyable walk about Rota in the afternoon sunshine, even stumbling upon a Carrefour much to our delight. Harry and Isabelle have now got the hang of what we need on board and are quite helpful when shopping. Then they spent some brownie points in a lovely leather shop where all the goods are made locally.

Back to TC and confirmed our journey plan to do two 20 mile hops, so tomorrow should be a gentle 4hrs to Sancti Petri, then Barbate the following day. As we are sailing through the battle ground (again) off Cape Trafalgar, we have re-read Nelson's story, fortunately we stumbled upon a model of Victory in a shop window, photo attached.
