Atlantico Marina, Leixoes, Nr Oporto, Portugal

The storm is definitely over as today was beautiful and sunny again, I took Harry and Isabelle along with Leo and his two to the local school where there was SPACE to play FOOTBALL plus a little playground, 4 litres of water later we had four hot exhausted children. We had left Bol and the engineer working on the diesel engine trying to source & mend the leak, they need to replace a seal but as the engineer didn't have one in his workshop he promised to return tomorrow, let's hope he finds the right size as the diesel is now apart and the weather is looking good for a Tuesday departure.

There is no fuel pump in the marina so we had to walk across town to buy 40litres of diesel, Bol brilliantly brought a sack trolley which made the journey easy, hot but easy. Then the same crowd as Thursday met up again on the beach for a BBQ, another delightful evening with interesting folk from all parts of Europe; Isabelle was in charge of marshmallows on sticks.

Thank you for thoughtful comments and commiserations over the seasickness story, all much appreciated. We hold out a lot of hope on the ear patches and Bol will put one on tomorrow in good time. We know that is where we went wrong in Bayona, not giving the medicine enough time to get into his system, we're kicking ourselves and hope that we've learnt from our mistake. He has also just taken half a Bonine for good measure ~ his "grumpy pills" as the children call them, so we're all on standby....
