This became a busy anchorage over the weekend but it is quieter now. It is very roly night and day and we keep getting caught out and stumbling over down below when an extra swell reaches us, perhaps it is the ships that are constantly entering and leaving Lisbon sending over their wash.

Diaries were written in the dens while I puttered over to Martha Primrose to see what their plans were; as they were heading into Lisbon for the day they very kindly offered us an optimist and their sailing tender 'Peggy B' to play with; what a treat!  There wasn't much wind but we had a beautiful little sail on both after lunch and then Bol taught us three to scull in Peggy B.  Ashley built both Martha Primrose and Peggy B, really very impressive.

Twelve years ago today Bol and I were saying things to each other like 'for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health' we thought if we ever had to renew our wedding vows it should be 'in seasickness and in health.'  Anyway, we had a gentle day because Bol isn't feeling 100%, we think it is 'cold turkey' from the bonine pills he took earlier in the week, but a pleasant enough day with a nice supper.

The children's energy is wonderful, we went to the beach this evening and they swam in the dark, everything is exciting and new and they throw their enthusiasm at everything (except 'school' it has to be added) but it is certainly never a dull moment with them on board.

Ashore to explore tomorrow if everyone is fit and well.
