Alcoutim/Sanlucar, River Guadiana

You can hear the skipper purring, we got up early before it became too hot and washed all the salty water away with fresh water, then he was let loose to sand and varnish in the beautiful hot sunshine so now TC is looking even more sparkly than last week!

Children are having a fine time rowing into the strong tide and we have had birds all around all day, with Wagtails landing on TC and the dinghy.  We are off shortly to go back up the little river to do some more twitching and will take a better camera.

We're planning an early start tomorrow to climb to the Spanish Castle before the morning heat sets in.

In case you missed our message yesterday,

Do you, or anyone you know, have 2-3 weeks available to do some spring sailing?  We are looking for a seasick-proof safe pair of hands preferably with offshore experience to help us sail back from the Algarve to St Malo at the beginning of May. If you are interested and would like more information, please could you email the boat at sadlertc {CHANGE TO AT} gmail {DOT} com. Expenses paid. Thank you.
