We came ashore to the small cove Harry spotted yesterday and had a beautiful walk ashore through a Eucalyptus forest around the headland which has been designated a Nature Reserve. Out the sun and in the wind is quite chilly, but the far side of the headland was in hot sunshine and out the wind and a whole different atmosphere. The temperature rose dramatically and from where we were standing we could see down the long cliff drop to emerald green clear water below, very tempting to jump in!

We were able to walk to the foot of the lighthouse that led us in yesterday, un-manned and locked up but with a great view of the entrance and surrounding bays on both sides.

Back at the cove for some beach art and biscuits before Harry and Isabelle had a (quick and chilly) snorkel.

Tomorrow morning here visiting the town and then on west to La Coruna mid-afternoon, a 30 mile passage hopefully with wind and tide with us again.
