A beautiful day today, hot, sunny and at last no more of that southerly wind.... and dare we say it, a zephyr of northerly.

The Minchins are happy!

Bol is happy that the boat hull, keel and waterline have all been scrubbed, he went down with his scuba gear to do the keel. Then he sanded and varnished the woodwork from bow to stern (helped by the children).  Bol also pulled the second anchor up as the forecast is for gentle winds now so we can let the rope dry off before stowing it away until the next gale.

Harry is happy with the second meal of prawns..... secret to the success to be revealed tomorrow after all.

Isabelle is happy because she said she'd like to learn the guitar and then Leo came on board for supper and has just played his guitar and sang beautifully.  Perhaps that will be Isabelle one day.

Jojo is happy because she can't believe that a bonkers conversation six years ago has really become a reality and Thursday's Child is now bobbing about at anchor in Spain, the wind has turned northerly so TC will soon  be on her way, everyone on board is happy and well and that things are good. AND we have heard that The Wight Challenge went well yesterday, brilliant news, many congratulations and thanks to all those who helped, and of course all those who took part!

So, tomorrow is another day.
