Alcoutim

Well it's been a quiet day here on the River Guadiana. Jojo nipped ashore early this morning to do the washing while I did 'School' with the children. Then we all went ashore on the Portuguese side of the river to do 'boat admin' like getting Camping Gas etc as we will be going up River on Friday to explore, in company with Martha Primrose.

Jojo attacked my hair with the shears on the quay which was long overdue. We then visited the library to surf the internet for awhile and download a new book for Isabelle's Kindle.

Following a quick lunch we had a very pleasant afternoon with the children playing happily on Martha Primrose and running wild in a property on the riverbank owned by some friends of theirs.

Now a beautiful night with clear skies which means the temperature has dropped dramatically and so begins our nightly problem of condensation on board TC. We've been assured that by end of Feb things warm up here so that is very good news.
