The wind is beginning to blow harder outside and the boat is starting to rock backwards and forward in its mooring here in the marina. As we are so sheltered here the jerk that occurs at the end of each movement is reasonably gentle as the lines become tight, but it must mean it is blowing hard out in the straits and it is nice to be tucked up in harbour. The wind has been building for much of the day and apparently is due to continue for much of tomorrow. We are surrounded by four or six storey buildings so we are well protected.

We have been snug on TC today with lots of making and cleaning going on, both on deck and down below. The current model Hurricane is looking well painted and is about ready for assembly. We have also had some exercise with a trip to buy supplies at the Morrisons and returned via the bowling hall (that we discover with free children's bowling). The children have really taken to the bowling and are becoming more accurate with every visit. Then it was back to the boat for 'happy hour', supper and card games.
