Marina da Lagos

Rather shockingly we were cold last night as it was a clear sky and the temperature plummeted at dusk. Happily we have discovered a Decathlon (outdoor shop) in Portimao up the coast so that'll have to be where Christmas shopping takes place ~ as there is no room for luxuries on TC we'll be giving and receiving warm clothes!

Harry navigated us to the local sail maker to buy some hooks for the sail cover and Bol did some DIY using his Uncle Bill's little vice to drill some stitching holes, such a neat useful tool that clamps onto the mainsheet traveller. We have quite a large sewing job as most of the current hooks have disintegrated. Bol also 'winterised' the water maker as we wont be needing it now that we're coast hopping.

Otherwise a relaxed day on board as the weather has closed in with wind and rain throughout. That didn't stop Harry dragging Bol off to the breakwater again for another go at a Sea Bass..... sadly we had to have pasta for supper.

Bol began to read about Captain Cook to the children.
