Marina de Portimao

We have found an excellent way to save money whilst shopping, I guarantee it will work every time. You take three shopping trolleys around the supermarket and at the check-out get into such a fluster that you only check out two of them. So long as you are in the taxi on your way home by the time you have realised your mistake, I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised at the savings.

Otherwise we had a very successful session in the Decathlon, the shop has everything imaginable for enjoying the outdoors. We all had the same 'Christmas budget' and spent a very enjoyable two hours going up and down the aisles. Someone didn't get as many warm clothes as the rest of us, instead choosing a new fishing rod, but we were all pleased with what we chose and now they are squirrelled away until December 25th.

A wonderful reception upon arriving into the Marina de Portimao this morning. After tying up, I said to Bol, "that looks like Lewis and Theresa from Sines........................ it is Lewis and Theresa from Sines". So nice to see them again and we enjoyed a cup of tea together prior to their voyage towards the Canaries tomorrow. Great timing.

The weather looks quiet for a few days so we may spend a few days here exploring Portimao.
