It was a quiet day here in St Peter port in the sunshine. We have been enjoying the steady feel of the boat after the rolling motion we had in Alderney. In fact at low tide we just touch the bottom so the boat does not move at all.

We all felt pretty tired and so today was mostly spent beach combing in front of the Cornet castle where we took a group photo. Followed by a lazy afternoon on the boat before Harry and I went out to try a new lure he had hand carved and we painted when back in the UK. It worked well, but unfortunately no bass fell for it, so it was back to the boat for pasta.

On our way to the castle we found a second boat called Thursday's Child in the residents marina. We knew it existed because we had seen it on 'Marine traffic', but it was amusing to spot it in the busy marina.
