We woke to find 18-20 knots blowing in from exactly the direction we didn't want and 10 knots too much, so we upp'd anchor and moved into the marina here in Camarinas as we were quite exposed where we were. We felt better when all the other boats anchored near us did the same! Quite a community now parked on the Camarinas Yacht Club pontoons where wifi, water and showers are readily available.

The wind blew all day but seems to have calmed this evening, so we may head off tomorrow, it just depends on what the morning brings.

We attempted 'school' instead but the children were so ready for a sail around Cape Finisterre that they were unimpressed at the change of plan to do maths and diaries instead! We did finish the Francis Drake book however as his life was very wild and dramatic and it was easy to sit and listen to Bol reading!

Great 2hr walk ashore along the coastline, rock and bouldor hopping, discovering plenty of items washed up from fishing boats, including, sadly, a dolphin carcass high above the high water mark, we can't imagine how it got there. Once around the headland we could watch the swell and were encouraged that perhaps it wasn't as bad as expected, perhaps after a calm night now it might be suitable to head out tomorrow... indecision that hopefully will be solved in the morning.
