Mazagon Marina

A very welcome & restful day in glorious sunshine and warm weather. We had a walk ashore but as town wasn't particularly interesting we didn't stay long and unfortunately we didn't find much information on Columbus that we'd hoped.

Bushes everywhere full of beautiful flowers in with a heady scent, similar to honeysuckle filled the air, spring has clearly sprung here.

In Rota when we filled the water tank we noticed it was leaking so Bol removed the inspection hatch and re-bedded it with silicone. Quite alarming to see water pouring out so it was good to get the job done whilst in the marina and not whilst healing at an angle at sea.

Another early start tomorrow and hopefully a calmer 30 miles sail to the Spanish/Portuguese border.
