As forecasted, today has been rainy and wet from dawn to dusk. It was time to hunker down and get 'scrapbooks' up to date, more Swallows and Amazons "Peter Duck", baking, playing cards and a bit of maths!

Ashore for a wet walk in the afternoon up to the top of the hill as Bol has brilliantly worked out how to download our boat emails onto a mobile phone.

No wind today and no other boats around so a very peaceful sight up and down the river, we feel so grateful that we had those two precious days up the river in gorgeous sunshine.

We are considering heading  up the river tomorrow to Pomarao for two nights, returning here for Saturday's highest tide of the year to see how far we can get up the Vascão.
