Oeiras Marina, 5m closer to Lisbon

You know when it is time to move anchorage when the swell is so bad that your breakfast nearly ends up in your lap. That, together with everyone getting more and more grumpy as the morning went on because nothing stayed where it was put, helped us decide by lunchtime that it was time to bail out.

We had an easy hour long motor 5 miles east to the very friendly and welcoming Oeiras Marina, Lisbon is now visible 10 miles up the river. With complimentary drinks vouchers at the local bar, a free bag which Isabelle has swiped, and fresh bread promised to be put in the cockpit at 9am, things were definitely looking up! Lots of info coming from kind folk on The Med, and the Canals, thank you, it is very much appreciated.

After a short walk up the coastal path, Harry took his rod to the marina sea wall with cheese on his hook, his latest experiment as recommended by Ashley last night....
