We managed to get ashore to begin research on The Med including info on the Canal system up through France. Quite a minefield including bringing down the rig, probably offloading lots of kit to reduce our depth, this is all such a turn around of events we are struggling to get our heads around it somewhat. However, nothing that can't be sorted and the canal system looks much more interesting than retracing our steps.

Isabelle had a lovely afternoon on Martha Primrose, and then all Martha Primrose's crew came to TC for pancakes and to pop the bubbly which Dave and Ann Meaning gave us 'for our arrival in France'. We never popped it in Camaret as Bol was seasick on the Channel crossing so not really appropriate sadly, therefore we decided to open the bottle tonight with lovely people and celebrate a few things, decisions decided, a new but different adventure ahead of us, and oh yes, 12 years.
