Marina da Lagos

Photo here of Isabelle standing under the old Customs House in front of what remains of the only slave market in Portugal. So difficult to imagine the scene back then with restaurants, hotels, tuk tuks and tourists all over the place now.

Bol bought a battery charger now that the sun isn't so high in the sky, when we are in a marina we can plug it in and have lights without worrying so much.

Harry went fishing off the rocks but sadly on his first cast the hook caught a rock, we need to return in the morning at Low Water to retrieve it. No end to his enthusiasm for fishing, especially after chatting with locals about what they use and what they catch.

Stumbled upon a huge warehouse hosting a 'Christmas Market' run by ex-pats, German, British and Dutch, the smell of mulled wine filling the air. Quite an incongruous sight to see a fat Father Christmas shouting 'Ho Ho Ho' under a baubled Portuguese fir tree with folks all round still in shorts and t-shirts.
