A beautiful day today in Gibraltar with a clear blue sky and hot sunshine, we actually got down to t-shirts (and Harry to shorts). A very welcome change to yesterday's appalling storm.

Harry spent his Brownie Points on a lovely book on Knots and so the morning was spent learning the bowline, rolling hitch, fisherman's bend, uni knot, turle knot, and more.

Later, Bol did a superb job of replacing the cable to the bow light, a fiddly difficult job we have postponed for weeks. Note the upside down umbrella placed strategically to catch any bits that might fall into the water! The children were very good at entertaining themselves whilst we were occupied, and the saloon was strewn with Lego, aeroplanes, makeshift runways and bits of rope by tea time.

Lovely evening light lit up the Rock this evening, and this view was taken from the galley.

The forecast still looking promising for tomorrow.
