Thanks to Alexander and Tim's emails, we now realise we have spent five days waiting for the tail end of 'Hurricane Bertha', the grib files don't name their lows and highs! Today has been mostly clear blue skies with white clouds and a bit gusty.

The good thing about sailing with children is that the 9 year old can row into the tide and wind to get fresh bread for breakfast, then the 7 year old, so not to be outdone, rows back with tide and wind behind. A very satisfactory expedition!

Chantelle's razor was put to the test today as I cut Harry and Bol's hair, it was more nerve racking cutting Harry's mop as I ended up taking about 2 inches off, I think it is an improvement; Alexander once told me that the difference between a good hair cut and a bad one is about three weeks...

We had more Moules picked from the rocks this evening, too many for us to finish, what a luxury.

We intend to head back to Camaret tomorrow Tuesday and prepare for an early departure on Wednesday into the Bay of Biscay. If we get the tide right we should get 5 knots of tide pushing us in the right direction at the beginning.

Did you enjoy the full moon?
