Harry awoke this morning to find the tooth fairy had called by as he lost a milk tooth last night, shoved out by a new tooth that is popping into place.

It has been a beautiful day here on the rock. This morning we all walked out to the north of Gibraltar to check out the chandeliers as I wanted to buy a set of seals or one of the pumps. Unfortunately we didn't have any joy, but while we were there we went and watched some aircraft taking off on the runway that cuts right across the peninsular. To get to the border into Spain you have to wait for the green lights, then walk or drive across the runway!

I was amused to see they have a street sweeping vehicle that whizzies across the runway each time the traffic is stopped to check for debris before a plane takes off or lands. Especially, as it was built by one of the companies I used to design for in the UK!

In the afternoon the aircraft theme was continued by Harry and I by painting an Airfix model of a WW1 Fokker triplane in the sunshine in the cockpit. We also was spent sometime making fishing lures from pieces of aluminium drinks cans to add to our ever expanding fishing box.
