A 0630 departure from Buzzard Bay, but with the wind on ‘the nose’, there was little opportunity to sail, although we did manage to turn off the engine for a couple of hours on the 42.5nm trip.  Once in the harbour we contacted the IDA Lewis YC and managed to tie up to a nice buoy right outside the New York YC ($65 per night).  

Although we only stay for a night we managed to get to the Newport Maritime Centre and a cliff walk and a dinner out at one of the many restaurants.
