Antigua - Shirley Heights

Nimue

A must do whilst in English Harbour is a visit to Shirley Heights on a Sunday evening to watch the sun go down.  So that’s exactly what we did and we took the short taxi ride to the proceedings with Heather and Jonas.  The views of both English and Falmouth Harbours are magnificent (we could even see Montserrat 28 miles away) and whilst taking ‘umpteen’ photos, we were entertained by a fabulous steel drum band.  Once the sun had set we feasted on a lovely BBQ meal and then listened to a live reggae band, playing the usual Bob Marley songs.     Another taxi ride back to the Docks and an excellent evening was had by all.
