Sines Marina

Loads of rain and wind but we're comfortable in the Marina and it is proving to be very sociable which is lovely. Tea on board turned to Happy Hour and stories of sailing in hurricanes off NZ and diving in Abu Dhabi, kept us all wide eyed until supper time.

There is a large and excellent rock face near the harbour for scrambling over, it takes 10-15 minutes to do the circuit, and Isabelle joined Harry on it today. So did I ~ I figured it better to be with them than watching from afar ~ no harnesses or hard hats around here!

The weekend is looking quite hopeful for heading on south, just need to let this next low come through on Thursday, and hopefully things wills settle down after that.

Harry painted his TUNA and can't wait until we leave Sines and get his line out again to catch another one. If we succeed, we will try to eat some of it raw with soy sauce and lemon juice.
