At 5.53am this morning we crossed the finish line
in Rodney Bay, St Lucia.
We are now feeling a bit shell shocked. Last
night was wind squalls and lashing rain - as the pictures show, we arrived in
quite a state! It is quite strange to hear bird and see trees, eat
breakfast in a cafe and also for the boat to be flat and still.

Anyhow, we are all fit and well, although our legs
were a bit wobbly when we stepped out onto the dock. Plans are already
afoot to hire a jeep and we are thinking about going to Anse de la Rey's seafood
dinner this evening, where one of the St Lucian villages sets up tables and
chairs in the main street and all the locals cook their catches of the
The other HPYC boat, Azure, is expected to arrive
around 11am this morning.
