Jost van Dyke - 3 April

We are currently anchored in Great Harbour, the beautiful main harbour
for Jost van Dyke (an island in the BVIs, named after a Dutch Pirate).

Today we walked over the hill to White Bay. It was a hot walk but
worth the trip. The sand was a pristine white and the water deepened
very gradually - perfect for the children, who spent nearly all day
in the sea. We nearly had to drag them away at the end of the day.

Just to perfect the scene, there was a beach bar hidden away in the bushes
at the edge of the beach. The place was absolutely covered in
shells.

This evening we had a few sundowners at Foxy's, a famous bar in Great
Harbour. We are planning to explore Little Harbour (also on Jost van Dyke)
tomorrow.
