Wednesday 14th June 2017. 115nm. Engine hours: 3.2. Passage time: 16.5 hours. Weather: Partial cloud at first, clear skies on arrival. Wind W5, dropped to nothing for a bit and then back to W5 again. Watertemp 15°C. Day time temp: 11-16°C Anchor up at 0330 as we are aiming to get to Sweden today. Sarah stayed in bed, got up up for a bit and went went back in her bunk again, she then sent Frans a text to ask him to flatten the boat so that she could get up without too much heel… request ignored of course. There was not much traffic in the shipping lanes and only a handful of other yachts around. Dropped anchor in a tiny bay, a little exposed to the wind but this is due to abate later. Sarah had prepared a (first attempt) Goulash soup the day before and this was gone in a flash and washed down with a well deserved glass of wine. Our first anchorage in the Swedish archipelago.  First swim in 15°C… Brrr!  |
