Gertha has had her first outing of the season,
a trip to Holland and back.
We left Wednesday evening, drifted North on the
tide then East in the night to find Holland in the morning.
A day ashore, then back the following day to
return home at 4am on Sunday.
No drama anywhere. We cleaned fuel tank in Holland,
18 months of filling up from strange ports had left some very bad fuel.
Customs came to see us in Flushing and a frighter
did not want to follow the international col regs were the best
parts.
All winter projets are working to plan, Gertha now
has sexy lights on the mast, a spinny pole on mast, cutter halyard, heating in
the toilet, boom preventer to cockpit plus loads more.
