We now have about 170 miles to go and are already feeling as though we are there, in reality there is a long way to go.  We expect to cross the finish line sometime tomorrow night.  We are not sure whether to stop or to continue up the channel as there are no social events arranged at the finish.

At lunchtime we crossed the continental shelf and are now in a mere 200 metres of water.  The weather is sunny, though cold, and the wind is north westerly at around 15 knots.  We have been making good progress towards Falmouth all day, let’s hope it stays that way for the next 24 hours!
