Well, not much wind today, our lack of a dowwnwind spinaker shows itself all the time! I have spent most of the day hoisting various combinations of sail, trying to go a little faster, all to no avail! Next boat will NOT have aft swept spreaders, so I can actually use the main when running directly downwind. Hints or ideas anyone?
During a period of calm, we swaped children with CM, Cathrine swam over to us, whilst Simon struck out for them. Then the wind, and sea picked up so we have a new crew tonight.
We had a period of decent wind, but now it is droping off again. Both girls are desperately happy, sleeping out in the cockpit on our bean bags.
