Hi All,

Had a fabulous evening last night at Turtle Point Lodge - the food was excellent and the show was absolutely first class. "Fat Matt" is a forty-something circus performer with some amazing skills, dexterity and strength - his best feat was balancing upside down on his head only and juggling upside down (don't try this at home, kiddies...). He was also a very profcient clown and we enjoyed the show immensely.

This morning we had an early start so we could make the tide out of Oyster Bay, so we were settled here at anchor by about 0930. Most of the fleet took transports into Luganville for shopping, diving and other business, and so the anchorage was pretty much deserted by 11. We have taken the opportunity to spend the rest of the day progressing school and doing some minor jobs, the boat seems to be holding up pretty well at the moment. My concern is that when it gets to this stage, something big is due to break...

Tomorrow we will get into Luganville nice and early to do some washing, shopping, and get our visas extended. There is also the opportunity to go for a dive on Million Dollar Point with some of the other cruisers, so I will dust off my dive card.

Tonight we will be joining the rest of the fleet aboard "Fortaleza" to celebrate one of our numbers 60th birthday -it seems that age shall not weary them....

Until tomorrow,

TTFN
