Today we went from Misima to Nivani and on the way we put up the spinnaker and caught a fish (well not really,it got away) that was soooooo big dad had to *dramatic pause for effect here* cut the line with a rigging knife otherwise it would've snapped the rod!! That Sailfish (more likely marlin though) was easily more than a metre in length (and on your gear to Al!). If dad had landed it, we would've been eating fish for a month(gross!)! I just got out of the water and it was sooooo lovley and warm. Sorry that I've been so brief but I don't really know what to say (well type really).
By Chris: Sorry about the fish Al, but it wasn't ever going to make it onboard. That lure you left went to a good fight though. The plan is to hang here in beautiful Nivani for a week or so before heading down to Panasia Island to collect our anchor winch from one of the rally boats coming across. Another two boat units later....
Anyway, back in paradise and managing to clean things after a few days in Bwagoia...
