Weather - partly cloudy, cool, light ENE Breeze.

Today was a pretty quiet one, although it was windy early, so we moved across from Smokehouse Bay (which was a lee shore - one that the wind is blowing onto) for the day. The girls progressed quite a bit of school, and after lunch we all went for a short walk ashore - not much to see on the bush.

The weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow is for north easterly winds gusting up to 45 knots, so we moved across to Kaiarara Bay which is advertised in the cruising guide as a better anchorage. So far the new Manson Supreme Anchor has worked well - it pretty much sets (digs in) in its own length (just under a metre) and holds very firm. Sleeping much better now, we are. Hopefully we will have a confidence building test for it overnight.

In other news, cate and I will do a tag team handover on the kids - I will be returning from work (in Darwin) on the 11th, and Cate will leaving for work (also in Darwin) for a month on the 12th. Time for "father of the year" again!

Until tomorrow, TTFN
