Hi All,

We're still at Pangomtu Island and havibg a fairly social time of it with the rally crowd. Yesterday we took the boat back over to Nuku 'Alofa and took a tour with a local named Wesley in his bongo Van. The tour included a visit to a cave with an underground fresh water stream in which we were able to take a swim. We also visited the blowholes on the southern side of Tongatapu Island (spectacular) before topping up with fresh fruit and vege at the markets.

Big Mama's at Pagiomotu has been a good base for the last few days, but we are pretty keen to move on. Tomorrow Allan and Angus depart for home, and we we will head across to Nuku 'Alofa for the last time to pick up some fresh stores before we head for the Haa 'pai group on Tuesday.

In the longer term plan we have decided not to go to Samoa because of the extra passages it will entail, so instead we have signed up to the next leg of the rally to Fiji which leaves Tonga in the middle of June, which should see us in Savu Savu by the thrd week of the month.

So far we are having a great time, Equinox seems to be holding up pretty well so far.

Until tomorrow,

TTFN
