Finally (gasp) got across the ditch abeam Cape Rienga at frst light this morning. It was a mysterious sight, all shrouded in mist and fog and rain. Troughout the morning the wind has been blustery and we have put in and taken ut reefs more today than any other day so far. We are now cruising down the east coast of the north island towards the Bay of Island where we will arrive in Opua early tomorrow morning.
We are all a little travel weary from eight days of bouncing around and were glad to be over the ditch at last.
Quoteof the day - "I've had enough of this crap - lets go home...."
Mark and Ange - Please make this our final report - thanks for keeping an eye on things for us and we are now logged in with the locals.
