Position at 1900 NZDT 39.52.3S 177.04.3E Hard on the breeze, wind SSE 15 knots, clear and cool.
We escaped from Napier just before lunch, having collected Marie from the airport ths morning (presents received in good order, will be dished out on arrival M. Sounds).
Marie says helo to all at home, she has already started making an attempt on the sir sleepalot record....
We need to be across the Cook Strait by lunchtime Wednesday before a big southerly change hooks in, so we are sailing hard to get there in time, so far so good.
All is well, spag bol for dinner, util tomorrow, TTFN
