Hi All,

Back in Oz at last, just passing through the Grafton Passage into Cairns, where we should get to anchor about 2200 this evening. The last 24 hours have been very frustrating, with the wind dropping out altogether and the sea turning to glass. One highlight was the pod of whales we happened upon this morning - we followed them around a little in the calm conditions. The other highlight was the two Barracuda we have caught - niether suitable for eating due to ciguatera, but good fun to catch anyway.

The blog will be a bit adhoc for the next week - our plan is to spend a bit of time in Cairns getting caught up with life before we make our way slowly south to Townsville by mid-next month.

Thanks for all your emails and commentary.
