Hi All,
A very pleasant day on th high seas heading towards
Cairn. Unfortunately this morning the wind died out, so we have been motoring
for most of the day. As I write the breeze is beginning to fill in from the SSE
- not perfect, but we will be able to sail (hopefully) through the night and
make good our track.
The big event of the day was the 80cm mahi Mahi
which Graham caught - unfortunately the trae wire broke as we were getting it
onboard and it got away - though not without photos and video to prove the
catch.
At this stage we will make Cairns sometime tomorrow
night - too late for customs and quarantine, so we will clear on first thing
Friday morning.
