Hi, Cate here,

After 3 days in a row doing  socials and sundowners on various boats in the anchorage, today was a fairly quiet catchup day. Quite a bit of school, lots of watermaking and washing (the automatic washing machine is one of the great inventions of the modern age...), and the afternoon spent swimming and snorkelling. All the yachts in the anchorage were visited this morning by a group of natives in a speedboat, requesting 2 stroke fuel for their outboard, to get back to their island. They managed to scrounge a few litres, but nowhere near enough to go the distance (especially not at their usual speed - flat out!). They were last seen cobbling together a sail from bits of nylon  - low tech but effective.

Glad to hear your travels are going well Mum and Dad, yes we are getting your emails- not sure if you have got any of ours, with birthday wishes etc.
