Hi All,

After a slow start to the morning we got across to Nadi to the doctor's
surgery for a 1030 appointment. Amazing, no waiting and within 15 minutes
we were into town for an x-ray, again no waiting and within a total of 90
minutes we were done.

The news after an x-ray and an ultrasound is that I have a tear in my calf
muscle at the top of my achilles tendon and a major sprain which should
heal in 3-4 weeks. This is the best news possible as it is the one which
doesn't require a cast but I will still need plenty of R-I-C-E and beer.
Peeled grape anyone?

The other amusing aside which occurred yesterday is that when I did the
internal customs clearance yesterday I was seated next to the officer
doing the work and looking at her screen. It would seem that when I filled
out the paperwork in Savu Savu that my dyslexic lawyer scrawl was
difficult to decipher, so the Fiji Customs data base has our shore contact
listed as "Angela Awesome" rather than "Ransom". Clearly Fiji Customs has
clutched to something that we have all of course known for a long time....

We were fortunately able to move berths today, so we are now nestled
between two big motorships in nice shadow most of the day. Not bad, I say.

Anyway, must away and put my foot up,

Until tomorrow, TTFN
