By Grace: Today heaps and heaps of people have come up to us in their canoes wanting to trade. We traded with some of them and this is what we got: More tomatos than I can count, Two crayfish, A pawpaw, two huge grapefruit, three corn on the cobs, an eggplant, And two hands of bananas. A man came up to us to charge his big battery. Also A lady named Julie came up to us because her husband had cut his thumb (almost off, with a machete) and it needed stitches. Mum didn't sew him up but she did clean his thumb and do a very good job of bandedging him up. And we got to make Sushi for lunch! Hello to Mardi, Grandad, Shelby and Angus!!

By Chris: Perfect weather, Allan continues to gift fishing gear to the great god Bommie, and the kids and I got under and have scrubbed about 60% of the hull underwater clean of slime. Beleive it or not, we haven't actually gotten ashore today, seems that there are too many other fun things to do onboard. The swimming has been perfect and the girls have spent about 2.5 hours in the water today. Today has been one of those amazing Pacific Island days you dream of. The locals spend their day coming out for a chat and a trade; it can get a bit much at times (Cate is over it already) and I thing we will move on to another island tomorrow, possibly Bagaman Is about 10nm east of here.

And now to Sundowners, an ice-cold Marlborough Savignon Blanc, and a date with a painted crayfish....
