Still in Port Maurelle.

Ho Yo,

The weather has finally broken, but not before we were able to do all of our washing by hand in fresh, soft, rain water. Thus, the boat looks like a chinese laundry with a week's worth of clothes festooned everywhere. Unsurpisingly, we are not alone.

We maxed out n school again today while the weather cleared, and were able to get ashore with the gang this afternoon for sundowners on trhe beach - several noew yachts have joined us in Port Maurelle and we were able to catch up with some of the rally folk we haven't seen for a while.

The other good news is that all of our broken propellors have been fixed - we received our replacement wind generator blades from KIWI, fitted and work well; also Paul off Silver Fox tapped and fitted three bolts to our broken Suzuki outboard prop which was spinning in it vulcanised rubber slip ring and it works a charm.

Overall, a full day in the cruising life, from beinf awake at 0300 with a 360 degree wind shift, to sundowners and a vege curry for dinner overlooking a calm anchorage. This is what we came for...
